Hi all

i just wanted to say cheerio, i didnt play long and it has a great community

however the imursive game play isnt quite there for me, not being able to jump etc walk off piers, walk over 3 inch high bits of wood etc mainly the scenery and the linear paths you have to take etc make this game upsettingly un playable

best of luck to all

While I love the Douglas Adams reference, I am dissapointed to read your post. But alas, if Ryzom isn't for you, it isn't for you. Good luck in your quest for the "better game".

I'm surprised that you feel the game us unplayable... pretty much everywhere I have been has had plenty of space to walk around barriers, etc. etc. I find the game very playable. Heck, I think I put in about 80 hours of gameplay in the last 2 weeks or so. :D

Personally, I love the lack of jumping. It prevents those lunatics which stand in one place and jump over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over until everyone around them wants to throttle their parents for ever releasing them into the wild. ;)

Good luck

Love the reference, love the Avatar. :D

Hate those "Bouncers" too, am glad that their not here.

Have fun jumping around another world then ;) :p

Does anyone recall what C.H.U.D stood for in the movie of the same name?

Something Humanoid Underground Dwellers I think - but what was the 'something'?

Sorry to be off-topic, but this is bothering me.

The loss of anyone who understands and appreciates the douglas adams humour is bad. I hope you don't have to travel to the end of the universe to find what you are looking for.
