Community Letters

Remember back in the day when the developers used to write letters to the community about once a month or so, updating us on plans, big news, or the like? Well it seems it has been forever since the last one, and I for one would like them to start up once again. It actually seemed that they were listening to us and taking the time to give us a few moments of their schedule. It ment a lot. But now, it seems a bit empty. Of course we have Marjo with us, but now even the Forum Q&A's have ceased.

So, I would like to see who would like these community letters and Q&A's return. Who knows? Maybe Nevrax will get wind of this topic, reply, and listen to our suggestion. We may get what we want :) After all, they supposedly read the forums all the time themselves.

And a side note, curious, anyone know what happened to Jessica Mulligan? Havent heard of her since the TV interview and her panel moderator spot at E3 06.

Seriously, is anyone that comes to the forum going to vote No? Even I Don't Care?
This is more a poll of the number of forum visitors :)

I reckon Jessica has been trying to get her scenarios to work just right in the Ring.

I voted "no" only because I personally hate letters that fill up my inbox that I don't plan to read. Now this being said, I do like to be informed with updates and such, but I'd rather visit the site on my own accord.

But you may have not been refering to letters sent to each of us personally, and only letters posted on Ryzom site, with updates etc. This I would support. I may have misunderstood your first post. I am a silly frahar after all.

I voted I Don't Care. =P I don't mind receiving such communications, but I'm not bothered by a lack either.

I have enough time at work to read quite a bit, so I would personally love to get community letters. The more the better. ;)

Best case scenario for those that don't want them... make em opt-in! :D

Uhm, just to clear up a thing.
The Community Letters aren´t RL Letters (what a silly notion) and they´re not E-Mail either.
They´re posts on the Webside, by whomever has a thing to say from Nevrax. Marjo, Xavier, David, Jessica, Milko... etc. giving us more insight of what they´re doing and planing right now through more then just a short post.
In a way, it was more "personal" back then :)

Acridiel

Edit: And I sure want them back, pretty pleeease :)

Ah, makes sense...

And with the website formated the way it is... you could get an email notification if you subscribed to that section... best of both worlds.

Well, that settles it... bring 'em back! :D

Thanks for clearing that up, Acridiel :)
Peeps, go look in the Feedback section of these forums and see how frequently Nevrax used to post here. Now that has all moved to the frontpage and it's no longer a forum - well I don't think any comment I have made there has ever appeared.
