I got to play with the ring a bit tonight and I am totally amazed. This is the future of MMO's. Once this thing goes live, the people at Nevrax HAVE to give a free month trial so anyone can try this. I am 100% sure you will get the crowds that Ryzom needs.

Um.... they already launched an unlimited trial of Ryzom.
But, I believe the Ring should be an incentive to subscribe. A month is too much for such a new thing like that.

access to the ring will require having spawn points that newbies are not able to get- hence no ring for trial subs

Last I heard, spawn points unlock higher level objects for use in the ring, but not basic access.
