Hello fellow homins!

I have noticed on my short time on Atys that the "greater powers" rule all life on our world. They are who we try to please, they are who we fight for, we give everything up for them. While they findle with themselves, putting us homins against each other.

I DO NOT WANT TO BE A PAWN IN THEIR STUPID POWER STRUGGLE!!

While homins fight against their brothers, sisters, even fathers and mothers, the "greater powers" sit back and watch us like some kind of spectacle! I do NOT like this spectacle and refuse to take place in it! I know there are more of us out there, I believe it is our turn to enter the fray. To unite Atys, it is unpon us neutrals to put an end to their lies! We must make ourselves heard!
We must fight for what is right and the good of Atys. We should be fighting the Kitin, the goo, preparing for the Great Dragon, not slaying fellow homins in a bloodsport observed by the entites to try and please them!

Please, I know I'm not the only one who seeks the truth, we must band together and put an end to these LIES!!

Some things never change. I would have thought by now all those who do not follow the Kami would have been removed from Atys. The neutrals refuse to take a stand, that is why they will never amount to anything important.

There are as many variations of neutrality as there are neutrals. "Neutral" isn't even the correct term in many cases. For some it might simply be a desire to remain uninvolved in any kind of faction-related conflict. For others, it actually is taking a stand - against the factions. Others are taking a stand for their own principles, which happen to not be aligned with either faction's "ideals."

The stupidest thing anyone can do when speaking of neutrals is to make generalizations.

IC: I disagree. Neutrals play a huge part in the balance. They have rights like any other homin. They have the hardest status quote on Atys. And they do take a stand or they wouldn’t be Neutrals otherwise.

And who will you turn to, Thundyr, to bring you back from the emptyness outside of the flesh?

Perhaps we really are puppets, and not slaves at all. It is a much more depressing thought. Slaves have a will of thier own, but can't act on it. Pupets are extentions of thier masters.

You can't escape thier influence, even if you wanted to.

...Unless resurrection is a power of Atys, which only needs harnessing. Teleportation may be the same, as evidenced by the natural portals. If homins could learn to control these themselves, we would no longer be controlled.

Exactly. The Portals between lands are a place to respawn for any.

Besides which, the fact that I badmouth both Kami and Karavan, yet they _still_ are willing to let me use their artificial respawn locations and teleporters leads me to believe they need me rather more than I need them.

You know what Samsara call people like that? A mark.

The Kami have spoken and told Homins they must act against the Karavan. Those Homins who do not are not worthy to use resources that Atys provides. The Kami are the guardians of Atys and if you can not follow the Kami law, then you should be exiled.

*snicker* The Kamis are hypocrites. Were you not here in the temple wars when they encouraged their followers to overharvest, allowing them to do so freely by no longer killing harvesters, and then in typical form blamed it all on the Karavan even though both had equal fault in permanently depleting three regions?

Preserving the equilibrium of Atys and such is a wonderful idea. Too bad the primary proponents of it decided constructing temples to themselves was more important.

But, arn't the portals between the lands created by a fusion of Kami magic and Karavan technology. Zok can remember when there was no portal between Dunes of Exile (South of Dyron in Fyros) and The Great Outback (Western edge of Zora)

The two great powers were on more friendly terms at the time and opened an easier route between the two lands. If they did so in the recent past, maybe they also did so to prepare the land before the arrival of the exiled homins.

Maybe the Kami wished to remove as much valuable material from the old lands as possible. Don't want the kitins to have it all to themselves
