Named mobs

I came across a named mob yesterday 'Slayer Frippo', a huge Rendor, then found out that there hundreds of them in Ryzom.

It was too tough to defeat though & was wondering if they drop special loot, like excellent or supreme mats..
Anyone knows about this ?
