Hi,
I have a problem that w/e i do i can't get the game to work on fullscreen and believe me i tried many "solutions" that didn't work 4 me. And every time I try to start the game it patches like 2 files i dunno i think 212 and 213 not sure, and it says "Ryzom will now relaunch. Please wait until Ryzom if fully restarted." This message comes up every time i try to start the game so i can't start it, and it doesn't auto restart, i have to restart it manually and this message comes up every time i try to start the game...
If some1 can help me out here i'd be really grateful cuz this is so annoying.

Some details as to video card model and driver version would help with some diagnosis on your fullscreen issue.
Constant repatching is an indication that something in your system, be it hardware or software/virus, is corrupting or blocking the files.
- Make sure your virus scanner is up to date and scan your system fully. You may also want to download a spyware scanner.
- Make sure that your antivirus software is not impeding the progress of the files when they are being patched.
- Make sure that all windows updates are installed.
- Make sure that your system is free of dust and that all fans are working.
- Disable any other apps that may interfere with network/hard disk access.

My video card is nVidia GeForce 6600... I'll try scanning with my antivirus and Ad-Aware, might become handy. I'll update in the next 3 houts I hope, thx

I cleaned my pc from negligible spyware and it doesn't solve the problem. While checking the 212 and 213 files it says it won't correspond or something like that. Mabye the files are corrupted somehow?
Well the fullscreen problem isn't important when i can't even start the game!
If other things won't help I'll clean my pc of dust.
thx in advance, the support here is great! hope u can fix my problem! ^^

Try deleting the UNPACK folder and launch again.
You may even want to get memtest and run your system RAM through it's paces
http://www.memtest.org

I tried deleting the UNPACK folder and all it does is making the client download the patch again, and after that it resists with the problem "checksums don't correspond" or something like this.. even when it says it will relaunch i delete it and again it downloads the patch again and the problem resists.. And how this Memtest will help in any way?
Thx for keeping up the effort helping me, I really appreciate it.

Memtest would rule out any problems with your systems RAM.

Had a similar problem with one machine, turned out to be a lack of usable disk space, system couldn't save and unpack the files. Cleared up some diskspace, ran defrag, patched again and it worked.
Doesn't seem to be any message from the patcher when a download or unpack fails due to disk space, you just get the "checksums don't match" error.

I have the same problem.
Every time I start the game, it patches. After patching, the game runs fine,
but when I disconnect and reconnect, the game starts patching again.
This only started happening just recently (after the last patch?). I haven't
made any changes to my system.
[Edit: Good news! Removing the unpack folder worked (for me)!]
