I am not sure if this is even the right part of the forums for these, but it seemed like the right place.

I have some questions about magic. I have asked them a couple of times on the Universe channel, but have thus far stumped all the veterans. I am hoping maybe a developer or game master will see these questions and be able to answer them for me.

So, here goes...

I know that when you cast a spell, you are defenseless. You are not allowed to dodge or parry while actually casting a spell. What I was wondering about were the link spells. I know you will be defenseless when casting these as well, but what about while maintaining the link? Are you not allowed a defense while maintaining the link? If you are allowed a defense, will dodging a blow disrupt the link? My thanks in advance for any answers.

ATM, you´ll be defenseless even with a LINK-Spell in place.
It takes consentration to maintain a link, almost as much as it takes to cast the spell in the first place.
At later levels you may move around a bit with your link still intact and lesser mobs are always easier to hold then bigger ones, so if you link with a MOB of significantly lesser levels then your Spell it´s easier to maintain the Link, so you can walk about a bit. But not too far.

The Mage isn´t made as a "kill all in one Go class", he´s a supporter. And the Fighters are supposed to hold aggro, not him

No, while you have a link all your concentration is on maintaining it and you will not attempt to dodge or parry. Your team is your defence
