They did post it 25mins before they did it, not sure about prior to actually shutting them down though, cause I just jumped off when I got the notice.

That was kind of lame, just a sudden dead link while I'm in the middle of a fight. Sat and waited a few minutes thinking it would pass...

Well I didn't notice it if they did - but regardless - they should do the "standard" announcements at -15 minutes, -10 min., -5 min., -1 min., then poof.

My opinion only but just seems 'fair' to us that might have missed the one sole announcment 30 minutes previous (especially if I just logged in afterwards...).

I think what molari is geting at is the fact that we all know about the lag issume at around 1:30 every morning, and most all of us know that the few times they had to reset server, they did with a 5min timer on top of screen. If they can do that for emergencies, what is the big differnence with a scedualed patch that they cant put a message up. Hell, I didnt even see the 25min notice, but I will admit that i heard someone talking about it. We are gaming junkys for being up at 5:00am, so give us a break! =P ..hehe, just saying that it would be nice to get the service as when there is an emergency as for normal patches. That's just imo anyways.

I think it would be helpful to see the in-game notifications in the middle of the screen instead of at the bottom and in a larger font. Also, like tonight, a second warning just before going down.

Yeah I saw the 25 minute warning then sorta forgot about it... a 5 and 1 minute warning would be cool as well. I wonder how long it will be down for, I might just go to bed if it doesn't come back up soon...
