always wondered if this classes as an exploit in some way as it isn't supposed to be ingame (if it was then there would be a button for it). some clarification would be good from neverax

It is intended that you can see your packer inventory from anywhere on Atys. Since there is nothing inherently different between that and guild halls and apartments (just storage space you have to physically visit to manipulate) I can't understand how looking at one would be an exploit but not the other.

I would think of it as more of a list of your inventory which you are reading whilst out and about. If you can't actually touch the stuff in your apartment from a field somewhere in the middle of nowhere, I would think nothing is wrong with knowing what you own back home.
