Dev request: Op attack/defense attendance info

Inspired by this thread:
http://www.ryzom.com/forum//showthread.php?t=24920
Please modify the /who command to show the following bits of info next to each person's name in the sysinfo window:
"attacker" or "defender" (anyone currently engaged in a pvp battle)
"karavan" or "kami" or "neutral" (the person's current faction)
"pvp" (if the person's faction pvp tag is on; nothing if it's off)
Sorry, but I'm getting tired of the repeated arguments; this simple change would allow us to see what's really happening at various intervals during a fight. The only thing that might be misleading is if 2 op battles were occuring at the same time in the same region, but that hasn't happened too often that I can remember.

Or if modifying the /who code is too much, adding a command to show a seperate list of attackers/defenders when inside an OP zone would be pretty good instead

No offence to you intended Oud, but I don't personally see much need to show peoples' faction or FvF status.
For example, maybe when inside an OP pvp zone, type /opattackers or something to bring up a window with a list of everyone who has tagged to the attacking side of that OP (putting it in the sys info would work too... since doing it one side at a time would mean less likelyhood of the list being too big for the sysinfo window).
If this was done it could be added as a couple of buttons to the OP window (when clicking on the Banner of War).

I was thinking ahead to the upcoming Spires and anticipating the "oh, we're so outnumbered" complaint in that environment. Putting faction plus pvp status would allow us the same info (basically) in the Spires environment.

Never intended for the request to be mutually exclusive with the existing request for those channels. I want those channels too as well as allowing all faction folks to use the faction channel and not just those in pvp mode.
Basically, I figure the info is already available to them, so go ahead and expose it when the /who is invoked. If it's a huge task, I withdraw the request. But if it's just a small bit of coding, it would allow us to stop arguing about statistical methods and who was really on what side.

There may be more to it than just factions and PvP tagged or not Out. Say what if you're a PvP tagged Karavaneer foraging in Void during an OP attack? You're in the region, you're PvP flagged yet not engaged and you belong to a faction. It could mess up the whole /who list once more. Restricting it to the OP zone as Spriteh suggested could possibly help in that case, but you're asking for a very specific and localized /who command. Which may not be easy to create at all, if it's even possible. The fact respawning players don't show adds even more problems.
Edit: Perhaps, just perhaps I got a bright idea on it.
What if, since I asume this is all about the Outposts, Outposts would have a sort of log wherein the history of each participant is written? 20.05 Player X joins (attacker side), 20.13 Player X respawns, 20. 15 Player Y joins (defending side), 20.30 Player Y leaves, ....
Maybe even with little flags in front of their names if they are factioned players.
I'd rather have they add something like this then instead of going to modify /who commands.

My request for the faction info is in addition the words "attacker/defender" next to those that are actually involved so we can filter out those that just happen to be in region.
Later, when Spires go up, the faction pvp info is more useful. I just figured if they were willing to enhance /who, might as well anticipate the future a litte.

I don't want to change the way /who works, just add info to it. Keep it simple.
Yes, the respawn issue means my suggestion isn't perfect. But it's better than the argument currently raging in the other thread.

Although the purpose is noble, this defeats some of the things about fights that make them fun. Namely, sending a party flanking, having the hordes show up, etc.
It's bad enough I cna issue a command and see who all is in my region, knowing which faction or if they are PvP tagged without seeing them in person seems a little over the top.
I would prefer a change in facial appearance, stance, and idle animations instead of the PvP flag. On top of that, if you are faciton aligned, I would expect mofe of a Kami flag or Kara flag emblazoned on your vest or tatooed to your neck.
Just my 3 dapper.
