The 4 Races - Who would you compare them to?

Still being a newcomer to Ryzom, I am trying to learn as much as possible and get immersed into the game. I wanted to get others opinions on the races, specficially how they compare to races in movies/TV shows?
My opinion, which may be totally off base, is like this (using Star Trek):
Trykers - like the Firengi - small, clever, industrialist-like, many times underestimated
Matis - most like Humans - from the Federation - very hierarchical - self-righteous
Fyros - Klingon or Kardasian - warriors all the way, very dedicated and strong, honorable
Zorai - Vulcan like - mysterious, potentially powerful - although the Vulcans were all about logic, they were very spiritual as well.
Others thoughts? Even comparing races from other movies?

I think you have the Matis wrong, they'd be Romulans. Arrogant, snobbish, imperialistic.
Comparing to classic D&D fantasy races...
Matis - High Elves
Fyros - Dwarves
Tryker - Gnomes
Zorai - ? - Perhaps some kind of planetouched

A better anology is to the B5 universe:
Matis = Centauri -- faded empire, still ruled by hereditary nobles
Fyros = Narn -- warrior society
Zorai = Mimbari -- religious obcessed, head bones/kami masks
Tryker = Earthers -- mercantile society, tenacious
Bonus races:
Karavan = Vorlons -- if they leave their encounter suits, everyone will recognize them
Kami = Shadow -- ready to prune lesser races/harvesters to further evolution

Tryker - annoying little pests, like ewoks. Vermin, nuisances, sticky-out-earred dwarfs. Should be eliminated on sight.
Fyros - hairy, ugly, mutton-chopped apes. Of very little brain, aggressive warlike mongrels. Should be eliminated on sight.
Zorai - not much known about their true faces but the fact that they need to conceal their faces with utterly ridiculous and hideous masks must mean that their visages are horribly mutated/twisted and ugly beyond even Jena's comprehension. Totally effete and useless race, do not contribute in any meaningful way to Atys. Should be eliminated on sight.
Matis - the most intelligent and important race. In fact, the only intelligent race on Atys. Beautiful of aspect, caring of manner, humble in nature. Should be revered on sight.

At least we're brave enough to sign our ingame names.
I wish people would sign their ingame names when they say things like this so we "vermin" would know who NOT to rez when the gingos decide to "revere you on sight". Come on, step forward and let us all "revere" you the way you deserve.
(No, this image has nothing to do this with this topic, but since the topic is very silly, so too is this image)

Little Tryker, the brilliant light that so dazzles your windmill eyes when you poke your head out of your tiny rabbit burrow is the shining radiance of my magnificence as I pass by. Do not bathe too long in the light of my Matis glory, for we know that all Tryker love the darkness of the Roots.

Well, I am still a newbie, but from what I have seen and read, I believe that this comparison is the best offered here thus far.

I agree with all the D&D references but Tryker! They are definately Kender! But gnome would work!
Zorai maybe Celestial
