Ryzom

Hello everyone. I have a question. I really want to buy the Saga of Ryzom, it looks like a really fun game, especially with the new expansion but I'm having trouble finding the game anywhere. So I was wondering, if I download the free trial, can I just pay for the game by making a account or do I have to buy the actual boxed game somewhere? Do they sell the game online at this site? Can I just pay for an account like some older games let you or do I need to actually purchase it somewhere?
I have looked everywhere, at Gamestop, all the local stores, etc.. No one has it, not even on ebay which I don't usually trust for online games cause they usually sell you a game that the cd key has been used.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I'd love to just download the free trial and make and pay for a account like that but I don't know if that's possible. Please help. Thank you.

No need to buy the game at all.

Just download, play the free trial, and then subscribe to the monthly charge when you're ready to move to the mainland.

Yeah, all you have to do is download it through the free trial thing, and then on the main page, there is a thing that says "My Account", click on that, get the password to it out of your email, and wallah, there is a link that says "Buy Subscription" or something to that effect, and you're all set.

game is free, just pay subscriptions to get to mainland.

Although if you are interested there are boxed versions on ebay, which includes 30 days free trial, but more or less the same cost as a month subscription, although prepare for some long long patching because the CDs will be out of date.

Downloading the game gives you the full client. However, access to the mainland is restricted for only those who pay a subscription fee. You have unlimited time on the island of Silan with the free trial.

Download from the site, and try the game. Pay when you are ready to

Please remember that cd keys are not compatable currently with the unlimited free trial and cannot be used to upgrade these free trial accounts to paid status.

Sweet, thanks so much. I'm going to download the free trial right now. I will probably play around with it for a while before switching to a subscription. So far, what I've read seems true. Everyone says that Saga of Ryzom has one of the best communities and judging from the response I got, they didn't lie : )

I found a box copy of the game at a retailer in Toronto for $5.

Stampy1 make sure you click regular account when you are making an account. As stressed earlier you cannot currently use a cd key with the unlimited free trial.
