Hey All,
New to Atys and in search of a little bit of information.
I have set up a character, a Tryker, but before I really get into this game I have a few questions.
1. Do a lot of people play on Aripostle?
2. What is the best class(es) for a Tryker to play? (Order them from Best to Least)
- Fighter
- Mage
- Forager
- Crafter
3. Does this game get very indepth?
4. Heck this is a good question, is this game fun?
5. Can someone give me a link to a spot where it explains each class indepth?
Thanks for any information you can give me!

1. That depends on what you mean by a lot. Unconfirmed info says the French server is/was bigger but there's no way to tell. There's enough and you'll just add to them
2. There are no classes, you can do everything.
3. You get out what you put in. Don't expect to be lead around by the nose and told what to do.
4. Yes.
3. See 2.

1. No classes? Wow, thats different. Okay so in the beginning, when you're creating your character it says "actions", can someone explain the differences to me?
2. Oh and if you are a paying customer, are there more hairstyles and whatnot? I only ask because I saw pictures on the web with Trykers that have hairstyles that I haven't seen in game.

That's just a little boost in the area you think might interest you most to start off with.
There are hairdressers and tattooists on the mainland who can alter your apperance a little more widely.

Wow, I am so excited to get paid tomorrow, lol. I am having issues finding a game to play these days and this one looks pretty cool, I'll have to pay a month and check out everything.
Thanks so much for all of your answers, I know newbie questions are semi-tedious, but sometimes they are necessary to understand the dynamics of the game.
Thanks again.

Hello mate
i have been playing for about a month
and the last post said most things the class system is legendary you can do pretty much the whole shooting match with one character
yes its fun, very relaxed game play dont be put off by the lack of people on the main land i would say its pretty quiet, make some buddies as leveling in a team is ten times the leveling fun that solo
also when you get to the mainland any other races you have made buddies with will be split up to go to their respective home capitals, just a note luckily my chums and i all chose trykers
stay on starter isle for as long as viable would be my advice easy to level (the mainland is vast!) and all reasonably close
the mainland is enormous and you may want a fair bit of cash when you arrive to kit your self out and buy some mounts or a packer or three to give you and idea a mount is 500k and a cheap packer is 130k these can be dumped in the stables and used as a vault
do as many quests on the starter island as you can because there are no quest rewards on the mainland that are anywhere near as good as newbie island (so i missed out in my eagerness to get to the mainland)
tbh the leveling almost put me off for a while but stick with it the levels make the game as you progress and specialise the game really comes into its own and it is very much what you make of it.
btw it has got the friendliest community you will find in any mmorpg! its like being in the land of carebears! its unreal (not a bad thing) everyone helps each other out which i have seen, and to me this adds a real staying power point to this game.
you will make up your mind pretty quickly wether you like it or not, i think its great and will be grinding my way up to those high levels
bugbear for the day: could some tryker invent a boat! preferably faster than i swim!! and it would be nice to be able to walk of the piers rather than Swim all the way around!

Yeah, I am so happy with the community. Been talking for hours with other people and I'm very excited that I found this game!
The amount of people actually doesn't concern me, what concerns me is that there is enough of a playerbase that finding people to help me out when needed wont be "omg difficult".
Now a good question that I feel the need to ask is, should I bother paying to play before I get off the newbie island or should I do it when I'm ready to head over to the mainland? Either way, I do intend on P2P.

Before you start your sub, i would recomend playing on the starter area for a bit. Get used to the interface, the different skill trees, etc. Do all the quests there. Then come ashore. But know that the starter area is very limited, (why its free).
Welcome to SoR.
