White armor and buildings

Hi all,
I recently installed Ryzom and I am really enjoying this game. I seem to have a problem though. While playing, mine and other's armor turns white and loses its texture. I asked in universal chat and some people said it was OpenGL's fault. If it is, how do I switch my computer to use Direct3D? If not, does anyone have a fix for this? Thank you.

Launch Ryzom, don't login but click the first menu item - Game Configuration. This launches a separate program instead - Ryzom Configuration. When it has loaded up click on Display and you will see 3 settings for the driver - Auto, OpenGL or Direct3D. Might be an idea to try all 3 settings to see which gives you the best results.

It is a classic sign that the video driver haven't been installed properly. If Jamelas suggestion doesn't work, you need to reinstall the driver.

1) Uninstall the driver and reboot
2) Select no/cancel when MS Windows asks to install
3) Install the driver and reboot
