Questions about Storage

Greetings, I recently moved over from the Starter Island and I have a few questions about storage.
1. I see you can purchase pack animals. Are these permanent, or do they only last for a finite time. What happens when you die? Can they be killed and if so, what happens to them and your inventory? Any recommendations on which one to get?
2. Are there different types of housing? How do you get one? What kind of storage is provided? Is this only accessable in the one place where you purchase it? If only in that town, how practical is it to buy one in a starter area if you will be moving to more advanced areas shortly? Does it matter on your race (I moved to a different racial area to play with my brother who was a different race)?
3. Mounts. Are these permanent?

1. Yes, they are permanet. But can be killed. If so then you have 72 hours time to remove all teh stuff they are carrying before they "decay". If you die while riding, then hope the aggro isn´t hungry or it will kill your mount too.
Diverrent types of packers are stronger and faster, i.e. harder to kill.
2. Housing differs from Race to Race is style, not im Ammount. One Appartment for each homin. In a capital city of your choice. None in the starter Area. Moving isn´t possible unless you ask a GM very, very nicely. And get everything out of your Appartment first.
I can´t remember how much storage it is right now, sorry.
3. Yep. One Mektoub Mount. And it´s permanent unless it dies from aggro, or exposure to Yelk-Spores or Sourcegas.

If I remember correctly.. Maybe it has changed in the last few weeks since I left but... You can move... You just buy a different apartment and the other disappears along with anything in it. And I think its 2000 bulk,But I am not completely sure.

What does how you ask them have to do with them either doing it or not doing it... they are either performing a service or neglecting to do it.
Posts like this are scary to me...

I would suggest that some jobs in any workplace are of the "and if you get time..." kind. So sometimes they get done, sometimes they dont. And speaking as someone who has had a fair bit of experience in customer service, wether I work after closing time because you are a little late really does depend on how polite you are. And thats for a job I get _paid_ for, not as a volunteer such as the Guides.
Posts like yours scare me...

The same applies for rules enforcement too unfortunately... it's been a community complaint for a long time.
