Hello Homins

Hey, name is Zarles and I'm thinking of subscribing later tomorrow. Just wanted to see if there are any friendly guilds who want to take this old MMO veteran into their ranks. Ive played online games for quite awhile, all the way back to diablo to FFXI and WoW, and so far this game seems like quite a treat, and i definately wanna try out more of what it has to offer.

Im playing a Zorai. Im currently a 41 melee with some magic, not much. I wanted to focus more of a heavy hitter type warrior who can also take a punch or two for the squishier teammates. Ive also just found a recent love of foraging and am even working on weapons crafting, focusing on axes. (i like axes, big axes that go "thwomp!" when they smack the squishies) I like dabbling in PvE and taking down big baddies, joining in on group activities and working as together. I love PvP, 1 on 1 and especially huge group battles. Right now my playtimes are scattered because of a new job, but i usually play during the night Pacific time, and randomly through the day.

I understand that this game has two battling factions, Kami and Karavan. Ive read up on a little lore and so far from what ive experienced id rather hang with the Karavan and those who associate with them. Might just be me, and I'm all for saving the planet and stuff, but i just dont trust those little pinch faced *******. =p Anything that cute and do-goody just has to have a hidden evil agenda. Plus, mother Atys can take care of herself while we scratch up her planet a bit more while making some huge cash off her suffering right? ^^

Also, one last thing before i go. I haven't Role Played in years. Ive tried in alot of games in the past but ive never found any communities or games where its "welcomed". Plus most people just ended up wanting to cyber (sorry for the language kiddies) anyway. I haven't experienced the mainland yet, and have only spoken with few people in Universal channel, so I'm not sure how much RP goes on here. But that said, I would LOVE to get into a RP guild if possible: light, med, heavy, dont care =p. I might be a bit rusty but practice makes perfect eh?

Anyway thats the short of it. Zarles-Zorai-Melee Focued-Pro Karavan, boo mutant kittens-Likes RP. Please adopt me, the orphanage on Newbie Island is so cold and the roof leaks. ; ;

Welcome to Atys Zarles! I wish you a long and happy career of axe-swinging! :D

Send me a /tell to discuss guilds. Info on Aeden Artisans is on a thread below. We are mainly Tryker but have found Zorai friends to be very useful when in tall grass or at the back of a crowd, or for lifting us over boulders and such. :)

Welcome to our giant rootball, Zarles!

Riveit beat me to both the welcome and the offer to look at Aeden Artisans. The link to what we are about in AA is in my signature. There is also a link, thanks to Spriteh, to explain further race and faction differences, although I see you have already decided to follow the Light.

We are a semi-roleplaying guild, based upon our collective belief in Jena and the Karavan, versus any specific requirement to be "in character" at all times everywhere and whoever you interact with, in guild or out. We are Karavan and Tryker, but all races are welcome as long as you are Karavan and neutral (only citizenship in our guild allowable is Tryker). Our timezones are primarily American, but we have members from around the world, so finding someone on during your playtimes shouldn't be a problem.

We do not force members to take part in PvP, but our stance dictates that we have to smack down (or be smacked down by) those misguided kami (ic) every once and awhile during OP (Outpost) battles. Faction tag-up for faction duels or faction channel chat is left up to the individual. When we standing down from OP battles, we are primarily foragers and crafters who hunt and mage to hone our skills for more foraging and crafting :D .

Other guilds have different RP requirements or none, depending on the guild. Interview us all, is my advice, as the people you play with everyday are just important as how you play everyday.

I hope you find a good home whereever you end up :)

You dare to wear the mask with that attitude? I hope you are intending to move to the matis lands and not pollute Zora and our jungle with your fetid ideals.

The people to contact for Aeden Artisans would be Pero, Riveit, Iverem, Pipp, Utai, Jyshrii, myself, or any other people you see running around with the Aeden Artisans tag. Just thought i'd give you a few names. ;)

pufft betraying our zorai heritage for a bunch of mini-karavans, and their fancy "tech". (Although some of them are pretty shiny)

Now get out of our jungle, the witherling is for dedicated those dedicated to zora and our fussy cuddlble creatures ;) (like mehhh)

Btw welcome to the game heheh.
