Hello fellow Fyros.. and others...

I just downloaded the game last night and played it a bit this morning before work. I am already loving the skill dynamics and ease of play and also the ultra-friendly and helpful (and also mature) community. My gaming history includes Diablo 2, Shadowbane, and WoW. I am an avid PvPer but I also enjoy exploration, diplomacy, and roleplay. WoW did not really satisfy me because of its many limitations and so I have started this game with a hopeful attitude. I have been playing Oblivion and the skill system is very similar. Ideally, I will want to join a guild that enjoys all the aspects of the game, is moderate RPing and has a good sized PvP playing base. I do not have too much knowledge of the game lore but I have been reading up on it. I just wanted to say hello to everyone and I am looking forward to meeting all of you in-game!
PS. I can't wait for the Ryzom Ring thingie!
PSS. My in-game character is Vaelgard, a name I have used to some level of fame in my past gaming. It tends to fit well enough in most RP environments.
