Well first off, hello to everyone here that is the wonderful Ryzom community. I have been absolutely blown away by your helpful and inviting nature. I have just recently began the trial, and will activate my account after I level up a bit more on the island. I am thoroughly intrigued by this game, and I dont care if there arent many quests on the mainland, mmos are all about community and the players anyway. I am looking for a guild to join once I reach the mainland, that would be willing to take me in and help me learn the game. I wouldnt mind some RP, but really just looking for a nice group of people to have a great time on atys with. I will more than likely be focussing on my magic and crafting skills, not much of a melee guy, but that could always change once I experience more of t he game. I don't exactly expect to see guilds coming on here and fighting over me, but I would appreciate anyone who could help me out. I am very excited about becoming apart of ryzom, and a guild for me to join would just make it that much better. I live in western Canada so I am on mountain time, my ingame name is Naesh and I am a tryker, hope to hear from someone, but regardless, a big hello to everyone out there on Atys, and a big thank you to nevrax for the free trial.

Welcome young little Tryker,
You'll find a lot of nice guilds in the Lakelands, for the timezones, i'll let them answer.
For our part, "Nexus" is now half european, half US.
For any need, questions, you can /tell Geniastrid, Baldera or Annykin.
See you soon young Tryker

Greetings new homin. I'm glad you have found an interest in SoR. To know what kind of guild you want, first, you need to decide what kind of faction you will follow, or if you wish to follow a faction at all.
The mechanics of a guild can be found
here
The different guilds can be found
here
And the kami and karavan lore can be found
here
If you are looking to follow the Kami, I recommend Team Spirt, a very nice and wonderful kami guild.
If you are looking to go Karavan, than I recommend Evolution, a guild not controlled by the "Karavan Alliance" and they do as they wish (There are a few more of these Tryker guilds by the way).
The guild info is my biased opinion, of course. To gain your own opinion, I recommend looking at the guild listing and contacting the guilds of interest to you.
