OP Battles

Dearest players

Despite numerous tells, warnings and general “Don’t do it” statements, it seems that there is still some what we call *confusion* over the OP battles and some acts that are carried out within them. So, for the record. If you are neutral and decide to interfere in a battle, healing your friends on one side, you will no longer be requested not to, you will now just be stopped and moved away from the battle. It seems numerous reminders aren’t enough for some people, or they are ignoring them or maybe people think rules don’t apply to them. Either way, you will now be moved. If you decide that it is fun to drag a whole bunch of mobs onto one side during an OP battle, creating an unfair environment, again you will be stopped. The OP battles require a lot of organising and work from the participants who enjoy the results (usually) and it is unfair for those who do not want to be involved in the real fight to interfere in this way.

Many thanks
Souls

Glad to see this will be strictly enforced, but I hope a fix to disable the neutral healing altogether will still be patched in sometime soon.

I'm glad opinion changed on the aggro dragging. Of course, proving any of this isn't easy.

While i certainly agree on neutral healing, the aggro dragging seems waay to hard to enforce... is there going to be a gm at every op? lots of aggro is being dragged as a joke buy the defnders or attackers upon themselves, so who is going to be the judge of how "evil' that aggro dragging is...

I always oppose aggro dragging but at OPs it seems hard to make out...

Outstanding, if this is enforced consistantly it will be a huge difference...

The aggro dragging was a nuisance, but most will agree that 25% of the time it's a combatant with poor ninja skills trying to run up and join their team... 25% was actually tactically done at key points in a battle. Half the time it was simply some homins dragging in aggro without any purpose than annoying their enemy.

The neutral healing needs to be fixed more than anything else, neutral healers in Yrkanis have been a probem for a long time.
