I see the veterans letting people know they really cant gimp themselves too much because of the wealth of skill points available at higher levels....

Thats great to hear, because I was worried I would be pinching pennies all the way to 250...

But my question is, whens the big skill point pay day start coming? Ive only seen 10 skill points per level when I level up, and they all get used up immediately for new abilities or upgrades that I want....

When/At what level do you start attaining more skill points that are more than you need to upgrade a few abilities?

If you do more that one tree on a branch (ie 1h sword and 2h sword) theres alot more SP than you can use, ive got over 3,000 SP in melee, magic and harvest

Until your skill trees split and you diversify, you will not have excess SP for quite awhile. If you are buying unneeded things with your SP, you will remain in a deficit for a long time.

[edit] Kye was faster :P

Every time you gain a level you get 10 SP, that doesn't change at all.
And, as it has been pointed out, you will end up with more than you can use if you do more than one branch (in the same skill tree).
