Fyros Story 2 rite

Hello fellow homins,
I need some help with the "Fyros story 2" rite...
I spent the major part of yesterday to level my Fyros Fame from 4 to 38, then i recieved the "Ovlovaks Trial" mission from that Barkeeper in Pyr. I travelled to OO to talk to the waterbreaker boss, and he tells me that i should visit several desert places, starting with north lake farm, where i whould be asked to craft some items. So i ran there... But nothing happened
(0m from target in compass). I see some NPCs around, but the only one giving out missions is some pale character who has nothing but Matis fame to offer as a reward, and i don't want that.. XD
So am i missing something, or is the game missing something? Maybe someone who already completed the rite can enlighten me?
any help is appreciated

try just after midnight ingame, the dialogue of the leader says its a 'day long marathon' or similar so begins at the start of a day.

As Aajolea already said, the next step is triggered somewhere between midnight and 1am. And then you have to complete the rite until dawn.

How on earth did you get 34 fame in one day?!
I am having a bit of an issue gettin my Kami Faction fame up to where it needs to be. I guess things have changed and just killing tribes/karavan guards does not work any longer (maybe for good reason, maybe not).
Are there any players out there that knows of an efficient way to quickly raise your Kami fame? The last few days I've been doing quests from Kami's all over atys, without any success in any fame increase.
Are there Tribes that can be hunted (without talking to a kami first) that reward Kami fame upon killing them?
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or the Kami just doesn't like silly Frahars.

Well Thom, I posted this on the Kami Alliance Forums-but since it isn't really private, I'll post it here for you:
In regards to fame, bandits!!! Go to the kami welcomer in every city etc and get only the two kill bandit missions. It's what I did to go from -100 kami to 60 kami, and after -50 missions were uber fast.
Here is the order I would usually do things:
Yrkanis Kami
Fleeting Gardens Kami
Pyr Kami
Oflavak's Oasis Kami
Frahar Towers Kami
Dyron Kami (ONLY THE KILL WAYLAYERS-KILL RENEGADES IS BROKEN I THINK) So one bandit mission.
Thesos Kami
Zora Kami
Maiden Grove Kami
and if I was feeling peckish I might do the Tryker kill bandit but I hated the swimming
After 0 Kami fame:
In Fleeting Gardens grab the bandit missions from Sacred Sap and Sibblings of the Weed
In Frahar Towers grab the bandit missions from Frahar Hunters
In Maiden Grove grab the bandit missions from Hamazons of the Dead Seed
Anyway that is what I would do. I found the missions easiest to do in medium armor with my high level mace. For doing the Red Con places, I would taunt out one of the npcs about 100m away from the rest (or else aggro) and solo it. There are other ways to do the bandit misisons, and you could also go to more kami aligned tribes for more missions, those npcs were just on my way, so it was faster and it wasn't out of the way.
I suggest those the bandit missions because you get more fame for when they "will be very grateful" I'm sure you could also do the craft missions, but that usually involves more dapper/harvesting.

Add winds of muse in there and you have a nice little tour.
Doing yellow bandit missions alone it is easily possible to get 8 fame in under an hour. plug away like this for a week or so and you're all set.

well i raised my Fyros fame, not my Kami fame... not sure if that makes much difference. I ran the same few missions from the Pyr city welcomer (craft armor, kill carnivores, kill bandits) and the two fellas around Barkgully WS in Ovlovaks (Craft armor, kill Kitins, bring bodoc skull, kill herbivores, kill bandits).
That i reapeated for a full day
Yes, it was a grind
especially missions that promise "the Kami/Fyros/whatever will be very grateful to you" are desireable.
if you are going for Kami fame, you might want to ask in guild chat, i'm sure some homin can hep you with that too
