Hope this is the right place for this inquiry. I thought I'd try to find a quality guild before I take the leap to mainland. From other posts I've read having help on the mainland is the key to fun and advancing. So if my description fits your guild give me a post, thanks in advance.
I'm a Fyros male definately sticking to my Kami roots
I like to PVP part-time and love to go on group hunts
I am usually on at night in the eastern U.S.
My past experience is mainly with SWG as a jedi and buffhouse doc
I'm leaning towards melee fighter but won't know until I get involved
I'm around level 30 - 40 in everything right now

I'm a light rp player, I'm more involved in hunting and pvp. I was very guild oriented in SWG and would mold my char to whatever was needed most.

What is your name in game? I'm not a guild rep but I'm always looking to hunt and that is when I'm usually on.

If you want some help, advice or just a hunting team give me a tell, kings of oblivion is a mixed lvl guild ranging from people starting a few days ago to a few years ago, you can join us on a few hunts and see what you think. We are a very PvP based kami guild, semi-RP and do alot of hunting together, as i said feel free to contact us.
Also i would recomend contacting Faa (leader of team spirit) which is a very highly recomended guild!
enjoy

Commenting here for accuracy.
Yaffle, you may want to review the description of the standard RP descriptors Sprite uses in the guild list post. If after reviewing the one for Semi you believe KoO is Semi, then the list should be updated.
It's in the interest of the community to have some standard descriptors so new players can get some accurate perspective on a guild before taking time to talk to them or join them and things to not be as described.
For ease of review. here are the standard RP Descriptors.
===========================================
High-RP Guild:
- IC talk in around chat channel
- Mix of IC and OOC talk in all other channels
- No metagaming (avoid using OOC knowledge In Character)
- members uphold RP and IC coherency at the cost of OOC fun: this means IC interaction
with other players at all times (example: no teaming with "enemies" for xp, even if they
are your friend in RL)
- recruitment is justified by RP stance of the individual (characterÂ’ s ideaology must fit in
with the guildÂ’ s background and goals f.ex.).
Semi-RP Guild:
- IC talk in around chat channels is not obligatory but common
- members are allowed to switch between RP/IC coherency and OOC fun: the guild has a
coherent background and goal in mind but RP and IC chat is not upheld at all times,
dependant on the situation (ex: IC at events, OOC during hunts...).
- recruitment can be justified by RP stance of the individual but might as well depend on
affinities or bonds between players. Not all members are true Role-players and no
members are forced to RP.
Non-RP Guild:
- no IC chat on any of the chat channels
- only OOC fun
- more than frequent use of metagaming terminology and typical gamist behavior
- recruitment is solely based on affinity between players.

enlightening, i consider alot of things we say in guild chat to be RP, but that would be for members to deside, i certainly dont take half the things i say seriously. From my perspective i think KoO is semi-PR/very highly PvP based guild.

All I think you need to do is post in Sprite's sticky thread about your RP stance and perhaps change the Citizenship to Neutral. Right now KoO appears to be a non RP Tryker/Kami guild.
No offense was intended in my post. As a new player that Sprite post is the only resource we have to pursue GLs so it needs to be updated regularly given the number of new subscribers who rely on it.
Think Sprite is going to love me even more.
