Yet another looking for guild inquiry

Post by aravan12 »

Greetings fellow Homins.

My wife and I just got to the mainland yesterday. I have looked at the post with the different guilds. The main problem with the list is I did not see what time the majority of a guild plays during. We are looking for a guild that is active while we are on. We are usually on between the hours of ~3 pm-10 pm MST (Mountain Standard Time) on weekdays and most of the afternoon and evening during weekends. We are not particular about Kami/Karavan/Neutral as long as there are people to play with. Both of us are Trykers and are willing to travel to other cities...provided we figure out how to get there. :) We are most likely going to stay race neutral unless there is a big reason not to that we don't know about. We are intersted in PvP (coming from a WoW pvp server) and outpost battles sound interesting. Neither of us are big into roleplaying and tend to be rather quiet.

Quiet Trykers?! How novel :)

If you're interested in PvP then Aeden Artisans could suit well, and being quiet will not be a problem because Pero sure likes to hear his own mellifluous voice ;)

*Looks about, doesn't see Pero, removes her earplugs*

Jamela could not be closer to the truth. Pero loves to hear himself talk almost as much as he loves to look at himself.

Contact Kiwi, Riveit, Utai, Pero, someone with an Aeden Artisans guild flag or... me! :)

To pvp, mainly you have to pick a faction (for factional pvp anyway). AA is a tryker based Karavan guild that does pvp. Team Spirit is an awesome kami tryker based guild that does pvp (Always been at the kami attacks/defense of OPs anyway). I recommend looking into the different factions and finding what is close to your interests.

For more information on the Kami, see here.

For more information on the Karavan, see here.

To be a neutral does not mean that you cannot participate in pvp though, but to my knowledge most well known neutral guilds do not pvp. The only neutral guild that I have seen participate in Outpost PvP is The Samsara, a neutral guild of Mercenaries.

They have a website here.

Hope that helps some.

To address the other portion of your question, namely what guilds play at the same time as you, you probably need to look around at the guilds online at the time you play in the areas you like to frequent. Many guilds have diverse membership with reps from both EU and US, and consequently diverse play times.

Typing /who in the chat window will show you who is online in your current region, but not their guild. For that you'll have to look/ask around.
