Really? I didn't notice much difference...would be nice to see "before and after" screenshots.macpete wrote:And it works very well.
Even at slightly low settings (AF 4x, AA 4x) it looks beautiful and it's worth the minimal drop in the framerate (Core-Duo 2 GHz, x1600 Mobile 256 Mb) .
Eh i think you have my laptop!!macpete wrote:And it works very well.

Ehe ... I've got a new iMac Core-Duo with an XP Pro partition (thanks to the Apple Boot Camp trick) but the architecture (built around Intel chipsets) should be similar ... hey, 512 Mb of VRAM are a nice optionxeraphim wrote:Eh i think you have my laptop!!
*grins* - i got the 512 x1600 tho
Right, the performance isn't affected by these settings even on my rig.4xAA and 8xAF doesn't seem to affect perfomance in Ryzom at all but makes it look MUCH better
Mine seems to be hovering around 250ms, I thought that was bad .macpete wrote:PS
I've experienced a lot of latency yesterday and this afternoon (I'm connecting from Italy) ... the ping interval sometimes rise from the usual 2-300 ms to over 1000 ms Are you experiencing the same issues?
