This thread is for those who will be sharing output from Southend Dunes Farm to thrash out the practicalities of division and distribution.
There is another thread [http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24175] where anyone can put forward ideas and I encourage participants to refer to it for ideas on how as to how a community op might be run.
At the time of posting the following guilds have a stake in this op:
1. Eleytheria
2. Mystic Knights of Atys
3. Needed Storage
4. Insomniacs
5. Infinity
6. Crescent Moon
7. Fyros Defenders
8. Children of Atys
9. Eye of Atys
10. Source
11. Burning Sensations
12. Me, Myself and I
13. Lunatics
14. Celestial Eagles of Atys
15. Rulers of Atys
16. Twilight Whispers
17. Swollen Red Eyes
18. Sirens of Ayts
More Welcome - add your name if you are a member of a guild without an op - in this thread is fine for adding now.
Please have one person from each guild be the poster to this thread, ie canvass views and conduct decision making for each guild internally as we will be going through that process ourselves in this thread.
I suggest we start by stating how each of us would like the op to be managed.

Re: Community Op: Participants Only Thread
I favor models which involve participation as to my mind being outpostless isn't only missing out on cats but on feeling an active part of outpost content and post-outpost Atysian society.
My favorite model is rotation of ownership of the op as this completely addresses the above even if only for short periods. Participants would agree a timetable for rotation, the amount to be distributed according to size of the owning guild, and have the fun of being the givers instead of the beggars. Guilds who didn't want to play oyo op could simply remain on distribution lists.
If not enough guilds are keen to experience ownership, I favor the alt guild model - participants with free slots create an alt, the alts form a guild, and the alt guild holds the op. Allocations are decided, the leader rotates HOs for withdrawals, joins alts from outside the guild should persons wish to donate, and those with no free alts are assigned a person to withdraw for them.

Re: Community Op: Participants Only Thread
Since we are a rather small Guild we are not able to participate as a Guild for ownership, and therefor we just gonna be on the ( taking/needing ) list.

Re: Community Op: Participants Only Thread
I think I will haveto discuss it a bit with my members what they think would be best, but in my personal oppinion I'm ok with just being on the list to get things and defending the op if necesary, I can go with the rotation too, but as we're a quite small guild and not all of us are online all the time, it would propably be easyer if someone held it all the time
(will edit the post once I've talked to the rest of the guild )

Burning Sensations added.
Continue to post your views on how you would like to see the op managed and we will draw these together during the weekend coming.
Also needing consideration is the folllowing:
We were one minute to midnight losing this op as a community resource - two declares were imminent and it was for this reason that I took action here on the forums to revitalize and seek to secure the op's status as a community one rather than a faction one.
Ownership and responsibility for the continuance of Southend Dunes Farm as a community resource is vested in each and every one of you, and in those who are to come. I won't be here long term and following resolution of this process will be withdrawing from this level of participation so it's up to you folks from there on in.
It also bears mention that discussion re: how best to run something in future doesn't imply it should stop running in the present and until such time as and if a different model is implemented Eleytheria is managing the op.

Re: Community Op: Participants Only Thread
For the interim period, while we are discussing possible working models for Southend Dunes Farm and the fairest way for distributing the outpost products, Eleytheria intends to ensure that the guilds on this list have an opportunity to be receiving a share.
As a temporary measure, we will be giving out 5 and a half stacks of q200 cats to each guild on this list, once a week, beginning tomorrow (Saturday 22nd July). This number is approximately 4 days produce spread equally across the list. Should more guilds join the list or any opt out, this number will change.
On Saturday at 11am and again at 11pm GMT (midday and midnight BST), there will be representatives from Eleytheria waiting by the Kami Teleporter in Pyr for around half an hour. We would ask that each guild on the list send a representative at one of these times to collect the cats. Should any guild be unable to do this, please send me an in-game mail to let me know, before the end of the weekend, and we will try to make a separate arrangement. Should we not hear from a particular guild before Monday, we will have to assume that they are absent for that week, and will forego their share.
I am aware that some of the names on the list represent a guild of one homin, and others may be guilds with several active members, however until we have such information, it is impossible to divide up the cats in any fair way to account for this disparity.
There are also other products of the outpost: mats, flowers and a few cats of different quality. We will take this week to try to get an accurate reading of exactly what is produced, so these can be fairly distributed.
Would those listed, please state in this thread, an approximate number of active members (ie. The number of different players you are likely to see in-game in a week), and whether they are interested in receiving a share of outpost mats and flowers as well as the xp cats?

Re: Community Op: Participants Only Thread
kami already work on a distribution plan and so far we havent post anything on generall forum coz its not our style to create a three people kami guild name it neutral so we dont get attacked thats others people tacticts
some of the guilds listed already receive some weekly help and would think it as unfair get extra one while others have less help
but since evryone uses the forum to say how good they are in the community maybe we should start do also
the soul is currently distributing 2/3 of the weekly produsing cats to non op kami holders and not only while all trades are kept to 1/1 for kami guilds ofcource
i think would be decent all guilds who received weekly help of us remove their names from the list and let others have more accees on the resources
