Ryzom

I assume there isn't but I thought I would ask: Is there any way to copy/pate text from outside of Ryzom into it (or from inside out)?

Mainly I want to copy my character's background from an existing file on a website, into my guild's forum (rather than having to type it all over again), so that's mostly what I'm thinking about. But also the idea of being able to paste a URL into chat (if someone wants help on something, and you can direct him to a URL) or into an e-mail is also something that would be useful.

I haven't seen any way to do this so I assume it isn't possible, but I thought I would ask, because sometimes such things are not obvious but do exist.

Also is there any way to log chat? I have had a couple of nice RP sessions and I thought it might be nice to log them, clean them up a bit, and post them to the web as a "roleplay log" of sorts to go with my character's roleplay journal.

Select All: CTRL-A
Copy: CTRL-C
Paste: CTRL-V

Chatlog: /chatLog (i think)

Copying text into Ryzom is straightforward, as Kae says, but you can only select your own text to copy out. If I recall, it's Shift+Up to cycle back to the previous line of chat that you typed. Check the bottom section of your Keys window.

And beware that you have a restriction of I think about 100 letters. So don´t copy/paste too long a text or much will be lost.
I usulay do it with two sentences if I have to.
Works fine.

its only 100 in the chat windows. i have copy and pasted up to 2 pages of text into the guild forum for posting. besides changing some spacing that got a little screwy during the transfer everything went fine.

Worked great... got my character's background ctrl-v'ed into the guild forum in one click. Thanks!
