I will be 3 days into my new life on Newbie Isle and I am subscribing as of now. Love the game so far but I have a question.

Where do I find current info on the live events? And are there any coming up that noobs can be involved with?

And also, I like to jump right into a guild as a noob in a MMO because it just makes the first days in the new land sooooo much more enjoyable. Is there any guilds that are recruiting newbies ?

Lots of guild are recruiting.

You might want to try the "guilds" folder below the "general" folder you posted in for some info on guilds. It would help to know whether you're leaning towards Kami/Karavan/Neutral. Read up on the guilds that are listed in the stickie thread there and you will have a lot of info to begin your guild hunt. Good Luck!

'The Saga' forum tends to have a sticky on the current event. Although ATM there seems to be less events due to bigger things happening.

To check out what 'major' Event have happened, as well as further infomation on what the DEV's are working on click here

What are the bigger things?? Sounds neat.

Also I will start reading up on "The Saga" tonight. Really interesting game so far!!!

Neverax are kept quite busy with the (cant be too long away) release of R2 'The ryzom ring' as well as expanding the PvP options with Spries. I can imagine that lots of events will psan from BOTH the rzyom ring and the spires and im prettty sure that we will see both implimented before the winter.

I must add, that the majoroty of events do not take place in the same Location. It would be wise to find a homin who can trek you to the other cities at least. (if im on when u are, im happy to do so)

Its not uncommon for events to be more focused at 'higher' level players. (I.E fighting big bad nasty mobs ) but if you are in a guild im sure they wouldnt mind you teaming up with them for an event.

I kinda figured that..... On most MMO's anything that really kicks azz is geared toward the higher lvl players.

So is there any type of telelporting from city to city or town to town? Is it ere you have to go there on foot first then it is available? And also, is there any web sites that show maps of the area's and what lvl the mobs are?

yes u can teleport. based on your fame. neturels can not get Prime roots (undergournd) and sum lvl 250 areas
but its easy to get from city to region or city to city.

Press M ingame and ull see the Map regions marked out by dotted white lines. and trust me, ull know when u cross em u can walk anywhere but the ihgher levels will have mobs tyhat kill you quickly

The first time you go somewhere, you have to do it on foot. Guilds will often organize treks for new players to assist them in this. Once you get to a teleporter, you can buy a ticket. That ticket allows you to return to that teleporter at any time. It's a one-shot, so you have to repurchase the ticket as you arrive.

Site may be down (see other threads for more info), but when it's up, each region does show what level the mobs are in general.
