Is there any kind of repairing at all available in the game? If so is it NPC or Player based?

And does your armor get lesser stats as it degrades? Or does it operate at 100% of its stats all the way until it is destroyed?

There is no item repairing options available at all, either player or NPC based. Everything on Atys eventually breaks and harvesters, crafters, and sometimes hunters need to work together to replace it.

However, items do work at 100% effectiveness until the moment they break and are useless completely.

Yeah, but you can wear them until they reach 0. Then they "crumble to dust".
Unless you put them in your bag before that happens, then you can´t equip with them anymore.

So where´s the problem with that?
I remember many Players coplaining that there wasn´t a warning at 1 HP, or so. Now its here, deal with it, or go naked
