Hello,

I'm a new player to Atys. Today, I left the beginner island and headed to the Matis starter city (not sure of the name). Upon arriving I talked to the Karavan Welcomer who cave me a quest that involved visiting various NPCs around the city, all of which talked about beginning my initation of rites quests, and amber chests which hold information (or something to that extent). Unfortunately, I abandoned the quest before completing it by accident.

My problem is, I've returned to each NPC in the quest series chain, and none of them give me the option to start it again. If I ask them "Who are you" they talk about the rites of initiation and familiar information pertaining to the quest, but there is no option to start it again.

My questions are:

1) Is this a quest which I really should complete? (Do future quests depend
on it?)
2) Any suggestions as to starting it again?
3) Any more information on the quest?

Sorry that I dont know the specific name of the quest.

PS- I spoke with a GM and they suggested I post here to you, the helpful community

I haven't done any of the "rites" missions yet, so this may be a wrong answer, but it seems to me that if you have abandoned a mission, you should be able to go back to the original mission giver and get it again, perhaps after waiting a suitable time span.

I gave that a shot, but unfortunately it didn't work :/ Thank you for the suggestion though.

Any other ideas or information?

It's at the barman.

In Yrkanis, the first amber cube mission comes from the barman, who is located near the bottom left corner of the city.
I cant remember if there was a fame requirement for that rite
