As some of you are aware, Eleytheria guild has split and those who formed Sanctuary have declared on the op I passed on to Eleytheria, ie it is an Eley v Eley battle. I have received tells asking for my position on this and to head off more and also to make my position public am posting here.

The history:

Southend Dunes Farm was taken at launch by Crescent Moon guild and handed on to me by Mialee who regarded that I could use it to benefit the community. I held the op for several months during which I rostered its output to groups and individuals who had been excluded from op ownership for a variety of reasons. When I was attacked in pr I wanted the freedom to log out and never come back at a second's notice and handed the op on to Eleytheria.

Two agreements were made at the time of transfer. One was that the distribution program would continue, albeit in a more limited form as I was giving away more than 6 days output per week and Eley had some 30 members and would need to dedicate time to doing the work of distributing. The second agreement was that the op would be returned to me whenever I so wished. These undertakings were given by Avila in her role as guild leader.

The present:

The Sanctuary members of Eley have declared on the remaining Eley members and I have received tells from both groups offering to continue the distribution program should they be the op owners. There is also a 3rd party with interest in owning the op unrelated to Eleytheria.

My position:

I want the op to be a source of at least something that have nots don't have to work for haves to get. I also want the process of distribution to be public and accountable, ie x amount will be given away according to y guidelines.

I have told both factions of Eley that they need to firstly work out what they as a guild want for themselves as it may be they wish to not continue the distribution efforts at all. I have also suggested that they post their resultant policies re: distribution should they choose to pursue that course.

My personal bottom line is I don't care who owns it, even those who attacked me in pr can own it and I am happy so long as a significant percentage of the op's output goes to have nots. So I'm in wait and see what each offers to the community mode atm.

The Sanctuary calls of the attack against Thesos OP currently held by Eleytheria.

Eleytheria stated to Zysha they will live up to and respect the agreements made in the past.

Furthermore we dont want to and never intended to spill blood amongst Kami.

We are willing to give Eleytheria the chance to prove them worthy to hold the OP.

So please Eleyhteria ....dont make me regret this ...please

This does beg the question -

How did the cat's agreement come into this anyway?

Did Eley state they'd scrap any agreements with Zysha?

Lets say a Kami and Karavan guild without an OP asked for crystals, would they both get some?
Will Eleytheria post a list of the Homins they are helping?

This still needs to be discussed internally but I think it would make sense yes to keep a thread open with some sort accounting like Zysha suggested. For now we still need to figure out what the former leadership arrangements were

Note: I speak for myself here on my experiences, I do not speak for the guild membership as a whole.

I can say that, based on my experience, Elytheria never did live up to the distribution program, at least from my perspective. Vx3 brought a significant number of members to assist Zysha in the taking of this OP due to the distribution agreement. When Elytheria took over, it continued for maybe a week or two, and then suddenly, without any good explanation, stopped. We have received maybe two gifts of cats over the past two months, and the amounts were minimal. We were told by the GL of Elytheria that we should look into trading with other guilds, because there were some mysterious factors that prevented them from giving us anything, which were never explained to us.

At this point, I don't really care. Vx3, is a Pure Neutral guild, in that we are Neutral to faction and civilization, and do NOT declare Kami or Kara for conveince of Teleporters. We have worked hard to build friendships and trading agreements with several guilds, and are not hurting for anything at the moment thanks to those guilds that want to help others in the community. Vx3 freely gives away q50 cats from our only OP to anyone who asks. Some guilds trade us higher quality cats for them, and we truly appreciate it. I would like to list them to thank them (You know who you are!), but quite honestly, I don't know what political issues might be at stake for them, so I won't.

I just don't want the perception out there that Elytheria lived up to the concept of the distributions... because in my opinion, they did not. I'm not posting here to whine that we didn't get anything. I'm letting the community know that there is a difference between what was said, and what was done. That's all, nothing more. I'm not here to flame or bash Elytheria either... I think they should have just been more honest and straightforward, and simply said they weren't going to continue it. Or when they cut us off, give us a real explanation, just as a matter of courtesy. I know several members of Elytheria, and like and respect them, so please don't take this as a bash or flame post. It's a fact post.

Once again... I speak for myself, based on my experiences, and I am privvy to every conversation held, as I am Vx3's Guild Leader's spouse. I do not speak for any other member of Vx3, or for the guild, on this issue.

The cat shareout was never made public why not i don't know.
maybe as a kami i would not have liked the answer.

Zysha are you personnaly going to make the list of people receiving cats public? it should be you that does this i feel as its your pact.
So how about letting the homins know whats going on we are getting tired of being like mushrooms here

i never knew and still dont know what agreements were made, let alone knowing names of the recievers,not even knowing 1 name,up untill now,after reading this reply@s i know that Vx3 was one of the guilds who shud have got the agreed for cats
