F10 to take one in TGA format, Ctrl-F10 to take one in JPEG.
They are saved into your Ryzom folder.
Jayce's tip about removing the UI can be very handy, for self portraits you might like to try holding Numpad-0 too (at least I think that's the default key).

I remapped the JPEG one to print-screen... since every other game I play uses print screen for shots and I'm used to that....

In my opinion there are several interesting keybindings for taking screenshots.
SHIFT F10 high-quality screenshot (.tga files)
CTRL F10 lower-quality screenshot (.jpg files)
SHIFT F5 hide/show the interface (toggle), the intweface is still there, only invisible, so be cautious where you click
CTRL PgDown lower camera position
CTRL PgUp raise camera position
I think you should be able to find all keybindings in the Manual
Reference Book Ryzom

There's a really nice file/image browser app I use that includes ability to view TGAs, but I can't remember its name...it's on my other computer...I'll post it when/if I regain access to my semi-dead hard drive.
