Ryzom

Has someone made a detailed map of Ranger Camp (from the new 4-race n00b island) and posted it to the internet? It would be great if there was such a map so we could easily find trainers, vendors etc.

Also are there similar maps on the internet of the starting cities of the 4 Ryzom races (Zora city, Fairhaven city, Pyr city, and Yrkanis city)?

i've not headed over to http://www.ballysticmystix.com for a while so can't comment on how up to date they are wihtthe rangers camp but i'm sure if it isn't ther eit is certainly being worked on. as for the other maps.. yes they are there

I can't seem to find maps of individual cities at the BM website, just maps of provinces.

Does anyone know where there are detailed online maps of Ryzom cities, especially Ranger Camp and the racial starting cities?

Such city maps -- with incredible detail -- are availlable for World of Warcraft at several websites.

it's much more productive and immersive to wander round and get to know them. same goes for all the spoiler sights with maps, resource locations, npcs, rites.. why would anyone want to spoil the game?

One of the good things about Ryzom is much of the lore and knowledge is held ingame, passed on in game.. see the almost complete lack of guides, hopefully people coming into our community will continue the tradition.. the universe channel is already being wildly abused - its not there so every 5 minutes ppl ask where the fine zun is, where the ragus are, etc.. its supposed to be for questions relating on how to play ie controls, stanza's not hints and tips for completing missions

If you dont have the inclination to explore the small map and find things yourself you are going to have a hard time on the mainland which is 30-40 times the size of the island.

BM has maps of the cities. Iirc they were seperate links at the bottom of the /maps page.

And, as was said above, ROS isn´t online long enough for there to be a deatiled map yet. So quit whining and work for your money.

Edit: It´s funny... On Leanon Boarr and his staff hold a strikt regimen over the Universe. Everyone that spamms and does not listen to reason and a few warnings is either muted for a time, or banned if he continues to abuse the Universe channel.

And, if people would stop answering to Questions like: Where can I find XYZ.
Then noone would ask anymore.
I can understand new players having trouble looking for help. But please people, let them have their own unique experience, like you had it back on the old Newbelands.
Anyone may choose to use detailed maps or not to use them, but stop spoiling new players. Unless you want WoW warmed over.
