Ok after a fair bit of good interest from people both ingame and on the forum I have decided to go ahead with a (hoopefully) monthly race. The first of which commencing THIS friday (30th June) at Pyr at 1945 BST.

Race course: Pyr KAMI to Yrkanis KARA.

Your way points are:

Barker canyon stronghold (sawdust mines)
Southend dune farm (Savage dunes/thesos)
Thesos Kami teleporter
Hidden source KARA Teleporter
hidden source KAMI telporter
smiiten mount farm (knoll of dissent)
Yrkanis KARAVAN Telporter

I'm starting off with an 'easy' race. If enough people compete this time. then i will certinally do harder races (through LoL/PR)

All who wish to attened to please be prompt. As at 1945 race rules will be annouced. The race will begin at 2000BST.

Entry Fee is 1Million dapper. (or Mat/item equivilent) To be handed to me before 2000BST any1 who does not pay prior to that time will not be allowed to enter.

This race is a 'winnner takes all' (maybe a 'wooden spoon' prize for the racer who finishes last)

Rules:

All racers must reach each point and engage an exchange with the homin there. As you can /wave at a homin form miles away. but not exchange, once the excahnge window is up, u can go.

LA AND AMPS ONLY. i know from experience that its possible to run anywhere with your supreme Q250 HA on. Feel free to heal any1 along the way, But OBVIOUS teaming is NOT allowed.

NO TELEPORTING! NO MOUNTS! Simple. If you are caught you will be banned. No refund will be given and you wil not be allowed to enter following races

If you get agro. Deal with it. I dont care how, pass it on the the guy in front if u so please.

You must keep an active /tell up with at least one of the race marshals.

If/When u die tell a marshal and sapwn to the closest TP/Spawn point that you have passed. I dont care if you are 30M away from Dyron.. it still doesnt count.

If you have the sneaky idea of getting others who are not participating in the race to maybe do some dirty work for you, then any1 who competes and is in the same guild/commenly associated with a racer will be excluded from the race.

I know its a fair bit of reading, these rules will be restated at the beginning of the race. But in all honesty. Turn up. run your heart out and you'll be fine.

Any1 can help. Regardless of level. all you need to do is be at a way point, and know how to use your system info

It appears by the weekday time you don't want many US players there... This is not a very good time on a weekday afternoon here... I suggest you also give more than a couple days notice as it takes word of mouth to spread the good info.

Lol - someone smack me i agree with DT time is a bit sudden and i can only pencil this race in how about stating that a race will ensue - but not telling the where to / route until the day of the race - thatllmake it funner

Got to remeber, this is my first race. IF 5 or more people turn up it will go ahead. and if they enjoyed it then i will be doing more races (with more notice for higher rewards etc etc.) and I had already thought about not saying the route, but ill leave that for future races.
