soo i'm using accurate attack 6, and incr. damege 7.. this is costing me alot of stamina. Is accurate attack really worth it? I made a differant stanza with lower accurate attack... and it seems to hit the same amount.

...and it seems you have answered your question already ;) . If it works, use it. If it doesn't, improve it :)

Read the stanza info and experiment a lot more :) I think black or white solutions are extremely rare on Atys, trying to adapt to a situation is part of the fun I have, and can be critical for survival.

P.S. I spend a great deal of time under DP ;) That keeps me young, which keeps things fun.

Agreed :) Another tip is don't overcredit for sucess rate on melee attacks. It just isnt worth it.

From my point of wiew....When I was leveling melee i always used as high accuracy attack possible, with as high increase damage my stanzas would allow me to use. This made it easier to hit higher level mobs, getting the 3k xp easier. Dunno if recent patches have affected the inc dmg/accuracy bits, but that certainly worked for me.
And ofc, if you have the skillpoints for it, go for a after parry/dodge (depending of what u are using) and bleeding option combined with max accuracy/inc dmg...if you can afford it :)

Yup, in my experience it´s better to combine a high accuracy with a slightly lower dmg amount and therefore hit more often, then to hit less with more dmg. :)
And it does cost less stamina :D
Best is to add one or two Actions, with attack after parry/dodge. And switch in in mid battle. Saves waaaay more stamina ;)

One more comment that applies when you start going back to work lower level melee: Use stanza levels that match the skill you're actually using. i.e. using an accurate attack stanza who's max efficiency is 200 when you're using a melee skill of 100 for example is wasted stamina. Edit your action and adjust down. You may even find you can afford acc att, inc dmg *and* bleed in those cases.

I agree with previous commenters that if you must choose, prioritize acc att over inc dmg.

Yup, yup, yup and yup...

If you cannot hit your target, what you "could" have hit for is moot. Match the stanza's to the skill levels you are using to conserve resources. Your hands should have several stanza's to make it easy to change on the fly.
