Karm was soon to realize that the kitins were still trying to eradicate the homins. The jungle was invaded (Jan 15, 2005) by an attack of the kitins, and the Zoraï barely defeated them with the help from other homins who came to their aid. It was a long and tedious battle.
To enable a safer passage between the jungle and the desert areas, it was decided that they would try to open a tunnel between the two lands. Lest they had to travel through Trench of Trial deep in the Prime Roots.
They got to work simultaneously in both ends, and after a long and hard struggle they were victorious (Jan 29). And thus offered a safer path between the two civilisations.
And no matter how busy Lien was, she always managed to stay informed about the current events. Thus she was often seen up in the front line.
In those days the Shadows of Dementia was active and arranged trips to distant civilisations. Karm still remembers how two of their members struggled to get to the lakelands.
