The noble and fairplaying guild of kings of oblivion call all kami's for the defense of our outpost.

The evil karavan guild of aendan artisans (I thought that meant they are crafters I guess I'm wrong) have declared on our home.

The battle will commence tonight at 1am BST (saturday if you want to be awkward). If you wish to attend and defend yet another outpost threatened by the karavan menace please be there.

we expect the all the usual suspects to be there from the kara side, and we would be surprised if they wasnt.

It would be easier to sympathize with this if KoO didn't do the majority of their attack declarations during US business hours on weekdays.

If you want a real answer to your question, I suspect it's because it's not an ungodly hour where AA's membership is concerned. But that's just a guess since I'm not in AA.

OOC: To be fair, given the skewing and the late night (for UK/Europe) nature of the Karavan attacks, I don't think they can be entirely blamed for trying to use timing to their advantage.

Not all of us live in Europe; this is kind of early for me (US west coast).

Hope to have a fun fight with everyone that can make the battle.

Imo KoO are just the first mainly euro guild to twig that timing can be used to their advantage when declaring on mainly US guilds. On the other hand, I've not once defended a kami held OP before midnight (usually much later) and most often on a weekday. But.. we could argue all day about which is the chicken, and which is the egg, and which came first anyway. Or, we could accept that Jack doesn't want his Friday night taken up by an OP battle, and that that's understandable
