Cats, heard several people mentions them (it?) and don't know what they are/do.


Apartments? How are they acquired/used?

Soo many details, soo little time at work to research them (since I'm mostly digging while off work

"Cats" is short for "XP catalyst crystals"
You get them form Outposts, to double the gained XP.

Apartments are bought for a million dappers in the citys
And they´re sadly still only for storage, no inviting people over to party.. *sigh*

Million huh? Doesn't seem too bad since as I'm still on the island, I've got almost 100k and I'm wasting a lot buying mats

I need storage, keep getting 50x of all but one mat for a pattern and pack is almost full so I buy the missing mat and grind up the crafting and sell to NPC.

Any "patient" Tryker guilds out there? I've looked at the guilds listing but most seem inactive (they have forums that only have 1 or 2 posts in the past 2 months :/ and those with no pages of their own, don't know how to choose between them since I don't know yet what kami/karavan is all about and why I should care one way or the other.

you'll be able to buy pack animals on the mainland as well, cheaper than an apartment.

most guild forums are private, with a public section that no-one ever posts in

try Team Spirit for a nice Tryker guild, they have shunned the dark side and turned to Ma-Duk though

I wouldn' t judge guilds to much on their forum activity; it' s not really a good indicator of ingame activity or pressence.

The same offer aplies as well; feel free to poke me ingame. There has to be at least one guild out in the Lakelands that would possibly meet your expectations.

TS are a great bunch! I wouldn't hesitate in recomending them..

When you own a pack animal, it shows up as a tab in your inventory window right next to the tab you have now labeled "bag". If you are near your animal (regardless of whether he's parked or not), you can right click on an item in your bag and move it to your packer. Or you can move it from your packer to your bag.

Also, if you are crafting and near your packer, you can select mats that are on the packer without having to move them to your bag.

Lastly, most guilds will accept a non-pvp'er even if pvp is common in that guild. We all need crafters to make our stuff for us even if you never pvp yourself.

Some guilds don't even have forums - including some of the most active guilds in-game. Below is a list of outpost owning guilds. All of the guilds holding an outpost are active, some much more than others.
