Insufficient Privileges?

Last week I sent an email regarding some issues I’ve had with the new site. Going trough the game lord-links I encountered problems and I am wondering if they are a bug or if in fact my account does not have sufficient privileges.
For some reason the main-page always pops up in French. I am American and although I find the French language fascinating and sexy I do not understand a word of it when spoken to me, nor can I read it. So, I select the upper left link [Ryzom (EN)] for the English translation. I then sign on. I go to Lore/LoreStory and I get to Atys History page just fine. I’ve read the Overview, the First appearance of Homins on Atys and the new beginning without any problems. It is when I get to the timeline that I have problems. There the page goes back to French and I have to then follow the process again. I also have to re-log because for some reason system kicks me out constantly. Furthermore, I try to follow on the links provided – The Fever of Discovery, The Siege of Karavia, The Company of Loria, etc.. None of the links on this particular page work for me. I get the “you don’t have sufficient privileges to view this page” message. I also get the same message when I try to see a Public Profile on the Forums.
I sent an email about this problem but I’ve not received any feedback on the subject. I have been playing since June 2005. I would like some help or clarification if in fact my account is not privileged to use these features.
Thanks,

I noticed the same problem you describe, it seems access to the short stories has become restricted, don't know why though. I've sent mail to Xavier (as it says on the access denied page), but haven't got any response either.

Thanks,
I had the same happen to me when I accesed the site from a Windows XP restricted user account.....I also found I could not login to the Ryzom game since the patch using the restricted windows account. When I use the main windows account with full admin privilages I have no trouble at all with the site or game.

That might be about right. I only visit the forums when at work...shhh. don't tell...and I have no admin.priv on this comp. Ironicaly I have not try from my home computer, mainly because I spend my time playing and not on the forums. I will check-it-out once I get home in a few hours...blah! still at work.
Thanks for the tip.

Ummm OK, don't know about how borked WinXP might be or not, but you did read that the problem was neither with access to the site nor the game, but to a few select pages only?
I'm not using XP here, I don't have problems logging into the site nor the game, but I cannot read six out of the eight short stories (apart from
Mabreka and
Opportunity Awaits), all under one parent page (the
timeline), which btw. doesn't allow to comment, either. I don't think the problem is client-side...

I would like to be adviced by a Nevrax technician at this point. Anyone of them seen this thread?

Khyle I was wondering if you've had any help from anyone? I've sent two emails but no response yet and clearly nobody cares to comment here either.
