Sorry to post something that is probably posted a lot, but doing a search on "race" turned up too many responses to get through in a night . I have everything downloaded and ready to go, but at the character creation screen I can't find anything that tells about the differences between each race, if indeed there are any. For example, is one race better at harvesting? Someone have better night vision? Higher strength for one and higher dex for the next? If it's purely an aesthetic choice that's ok, but I would like to get some numbers to work with before I make my first character, I would hate to have to reroll next week because the race I chose to start with is entirely unsuited to the direction in which I want to start .
Fyros: a bloodthirsty race that, if there's nothing else to fight, would just as soon smash your face in (unless they're using a pointy stick or slashing weapon), but since there always something else to fight on Atys, they're good to have around when the going gets rough.
Matis: haughty, pointy-eared (insert McCoy quip here) race that want to tell every other homin what to do, but since they often have the best stuff, they're good to have around when you get in a tight spot.
Tryker: a short people who ride tiny little mektoubs that go beep, beep, beep, but since their foes often underestimate them, it's good to have a couple around for those messy situations.
Zoraï: a tall race that so all round great they could look down on lesser homin, but don't because that's the sort of people they are; superb to be around in any occasion (except for their leader Mabreka who's evil incarnate).
