Ryzom

Can anyone tell me if its possible to create a certain type of macro please?
I have done similar in other games before ( SWG )

I would like to put all my "fight" actions on bar 2 , "magic" on bar 3, "harvest" on bar 4, and "craft" on bar 5.

That bit I can already do.
What I would like tho is to put 4 buttons on Action Bar 1 which jump to the other 4 respectively.
I also wish to put a button on each bar 2 to 5 which jumps back to bar 1.

I hope I am making my explanation clear.
Can anyone let me know if it's possible please ?

Last I checked you could not do this. BUT there are macros already set up for jumping from one action bar to the next. (Just cannot for the life of me remember them right now... sorry) Go to your "k" key and look up all the keystrokes available. Should be listed in there somewhere.

[On a side note... Is this the same Mirth that played here right after SoR went live? Please contact one of us at Pegasus Foundation. Would love to know how you're doing, etc.]

I did play Ryzom in Dec 04/Jan 05 but dont think I crossed paths with the Pegasus Foundation.
Since then however , if you met a Mirth in WoW, EQ2,SWG,CoH,CoV, DOAC,EvE, SoG and DnL then it was probably me

I'll tell ya something else weird too :-
When I reactivated my account in Ryzom this time, my name has changed ! My old Mirth toon -Fyros Ranged Hunter in Pyr, is now called
" MirthOfAris" even tho I never changed it.

If you wanted to contact me in-game, I am currently grinding a new Zorai toon called " Briton" on the noob isle, which I really am enjoying so far. 3 days in. not rushing it, just having fun.

ctrl and "number of your action bar"

So eg ctrl-1 for the first bar, ctrl-2 for the second, ctrl-3 for the thirth, ctrl-4 for the 4th, ctrl-5 for the fifth...

icon pad -> system -> macros -> new macro
set up icon, fill in macro name, add new command (category=actions, action=select shortcut bar, bar number), save macro and drag icon to your hands bar.

you can add multiple commands to one macro. ("select entity, switch shortcut bar, run heal spell" for example).

How wierd and Cool... We had a Mirth in our Guild right after the game went live. Would have sworn it would have been you, but she was Matis. Anyway - **Good to Meet You!**
Hehe.. As for your name.. That is not how your name will appear in game. The Mirth (of Arispostle).. The of Arispostle just shows which Shard that chari is on. Now you can have charis on any of the shards, but they cannot jump shards. So this just helps you keep them straight.

I did see you in DnL. (I was wondering then if it was the same one. lol) I, like most of the world, am never going to open that game again. So if you are still there, good luck.

Lastly.. As soon as you get to the mainland, contact myself, Pharamos, Oudknoei, Heavyn, Rder, Kyella, or Nyveah and we'll get you set up. Though, take your time on the newb island. It has lots to show off.

As far as I know, that would mean that there was another Mirth on the Windermeer shard when it merged with Arispotle long ago, who was more active ingame than you.

That makes WAY more sense.. Thanks for clearing that up. PF and all of us were on Windemeer when it was still around. So we did have 2. One on each server.

Thank you for the kind invite.

MirthOfAris is already on the mainland,(Pyr) so I'll be in touch.
I will keep Briton on the island for a while yet tho, and he will probably end up levelling quicker than Mirth.

Also , I have now bailed on DnL. Shame as it had promise with its ideas, but the implementation..........well, you know.
