Accidently got it (never hit Enter key while a window is open with OK or Cancel on it, hehe), I hit enter to ask in chat if it was a rez spell since I already had Heal I and II.

Uhm, sorry I don´t realy know what you mean?

All "Heal Life", or "Life Gift" Spells can be used to rezz seomeone.
It´s just a matter of pumping enough Life back into him.
If that´s what you mean.

All healing type spells will rez a character? Wow, that's a lot different than I'm used to, hehe.

Only been playing a couple days now so you'll see a lot of newb style questions from me .

Reason I asked was I was harvesting a node and a peep was nearby. Green cloud popped up and he was too close and didn't move away. Died I tried my heal 2 spell but didn't appear to do anything. That's why I asked why this heal (different name than my first 2) spell was a rez spell.

When someone dies youll notice they get KO'ed rather then die. The bright red turns to a more dark red. You have to heal them back to bright. Its hard to res someone with the first few heals in the time alloted, but once you get better at healing magic and get new spells its a breeze.

Okay, SAP & stamina Heal won´t for obvoius reasons rezz. But As long as you keep pumping Life into a fallen Comrad, he´ll eventually be on his/her feet again.


Even if it takes a few Minutes at first *g* But that can be a challange all of its own

Also, dont forget that there's 2 basic heal lines. One is the self heals and those only heal you. All self heals are on the same timer so using one cuts em all out till the timer resets.

The other is the heal others line and those are named Heal (for hp) and gift for sap and stam (there might be a gift spell for hp too but I dont generally play healer so not sure).

To rez someone you gotta hit them with multiple heal shots until they stand up. You'll know when they're rezzed because they will stand up automatically.

Yea, you gotta keep healing them with your heal other spell untill the bar gets all the way to the bottem

on another note Heal life and life gift are both heal spells that heal HP but heal life is spell lvl 2/4/6/8 and so on while life gift is lvl 1/3/5/7 and so on...may be the other way around but you get it

You also cannot rez yourself with Self Heal XD

There are actions that are named Heal Life and Life Gift. They are on two different skill lines in the healing skill tree. So you need Heal Life 1 to be able to learn Heal Life 2 and you need Life Gift 1 to learn Life Gift 2. The different between these two is, that Heal Life only uses sap, time and range credits as stanzas, and Life Gift uses hp credits in addition to the other three credits. And the healing stanzas in both action types are different. So you learn the Heal Spell Effects Heal 1,3,5,... with the Heal Life type of actions and the Heal Spell Effects Heal 2,4,6,... with the Life Gift actions.
