I hope that you and all of your guild mates will find a home here, I know that many SWG refugees have found a home here now

Things to consider when translating from swg to SoR.
1. you will never have to give up a skill in order to learn a new skill.
2. You can be anything you want. If you're really patient and dedicated, you can be everything you want too.
3. Once you build up some skills (actions) in a specific disciplen, you can edit them to benifit how you play and you can re-edit them at will.
4. This game world ecomony is also player driven but without the head ache of having to manage a player shop.
and last but definatly not least
5. No one employed by SOE has any say here or makes any decisions so it's much less likely that this game will go through the same castration cycle that all SOE games go through.

Hello everyone I am an ex SWG player and will be starting a trial of this game as soon as it downloads. I have been wondering around looking for a game to take the place of SWG since the combat upgrade and I can only conclude that seeing a group of SWG refugees in this game is a good thing.

Wow I stuck around through part of the NGE, keeping one account alive, hopefully it gets better but from what I've seen here so far screw SOE =p

One of those new SWG refugees here. From what I got to see of the game before the servers went down I think I might like it here. I also gotta say i am impressed by the forum community here. I have read many posts, and I haven't seen nearly as much negativity here as i do on the forums I am used to using.
Obviously to have stuck around in SWG for as long as I did after NGE I was one of the diehard SWG players. Eventually I just had to accept the fact that the game that I enjoyed wasn't coming back so we decided to move on to a new home. I hope that this will be it since it resembles the original SWG more than any other game out right now. With this skill system I hope we will find what we are looking for. A game where you group up with some friends, go have a good time somewhere, and most importantly live your story as you see fit like it should be in any RPG.

There seem to be a never-ending stream of disaffected SWG players arriving on Atys! Never played any other RPG's so not really sure how Ryzom compares, but I love Ryzom.
Welcome to your new home! All of you!
