cool, looks like they really put a lot of extra stuff in the patch (originally it was just supposed to include the architecture to prepare for the Ring/NPE IIRC), good to see all the cool extra goodies!

All the changes are very good.

*Gulps* I got the shakes already. Help. No sleep this weekend. Got to store up time against my Ryzom addiction withdrawal. What shall I do with my evenings for 4 days? I need firewine!
Seriously, this sounds awesome. *Wonders what will get broken?* Sorry, devs, you're doing fine, but everyone's human so admit it, in a patch this size, something's bound to. Believe me, we'll find them to help you out!
No flames, please. Take pity on the organization during this time if you will. You know they got to be as anxious as we are that it all goes reasonably well.

Now, how is "Silan" pronounced?
Is the first syllable "see" or "sigh"? Last syllable "lahn" (bit like Cylon o_O) or "lan" (as in land)?

With Ryzom being developed in France, my guess would be "seeLAHN"...
By the way, any word about what will happen to the old NPE - will they become accessible somehow or are they lost in time forever? GMs? Devs? Any news?

I remember reading that they would stay there but obviously no new players will appear and you can still port to mainland.
The new NPE is only accessible with a new char, there is no transfer option for chars already on noob world.

It has been suggested by a few people that it would be nice to have the old NPE (the "islands") become accessible from the mainlands, maybe as "holiday resorts", or as kitin-infested, overrun areas. Either way, it would be nice to be able to visit them again after so much time. I was hoping to get some feedback from either the devs or GMs, but there was none so far.
