Giving the 7 day free trial a try. I have played many MMO's over the last few years and saw this game on MMORP.com and thought I'd give it a try. I am browsing the boards and reading the online manual, but I do have one question. How steep is the learning curve for this game. I tried swg and found myself looking at web sites more than playing, trying to understand the progression system.

I'll be on the English Server (U.S. here) not sure which one of my many avatar names I will use. Anyway if you see a confused looking new player, that will probably be me.

Greets!

steepish.
dont expect to understand everything after a day, or a week or a month. and dont expect to be told (by the game) how things work, its kinda left up to you to discover.
the most important skills in the game have no numbers, no action progression, you learn them through experience :-)

that wasnt supposed to put you off btw, get chatting with ppl or ask here, and things will become clearer. And to stop you feeling like you arent getting it when i started playing it was about 2 months before i realised you could buy teleport tickets :D

On one hand it's as easy as taking a weapon and start whacking the Yubo's head.

But then, every aspect of the game has some depth. Everybody knows the game can be difficult and many will try to help you if they can.

And welcome! :)

As we just saw the NPE will be coming in a few days *gleee*
So you´ll hopefully get a better introduction into the game than from the "old" Newbe Isles then.
But as rushin said, don´t be afraid to ask. People are glead to help :)
