I started to play yesterday. My ingame name is Gaebril and for the moment I'm still in the "welcome" island learning to handle my skills.

A gameplay difficult to understand at the beginning but opening a lot of freedom of choice. I have so much to discover and must say I'm very enthousiastic !

I was wondering how the crafter succeed in getting all the patern they want from the trainer.
I would like to be mainly an armorsmith and each pattern to "buy" is 30 points as you know. Do you craft a little of each crafting type (jewelry, weapons...) to have more crafting points and then more patterns to buy in your main craft or with time you have so much points you don't worry about it?
I'm not very sure how to handle it...

I do that.

A lot of crafters use alternate craft branches for some 'sp mining'. The richest source for spare sp is without a doubt jewelry, that is if it ain' t your main branch, since it splits in the 6 different jewel paterns quite early on.

Armourcraft could as well be linked to shieldcraft for some additional sp if you don' t fancy foraging very different materials altogheter. Plus it' s very convenient to make heavy armours AND shields.

But if you want that fast additional sp and you wanted it yesterday, you could always try your hand at some weaponcrafting; I' m pretty sure the early levels of weaponsmithing are the fastest, more notably amplifiers and two-handed weapons, compared to all the other crafts.
