Tomorrow (Thursday), we will upgrade the website, replacing the current engine with a
more elaborate one. As a result, Ryzom.com should be down from 3 pm to 5 pm (GMT+2, Paris time). Note that during this time, the forum will be unavailable as well.

"The story just begins", I'm no native english speaker but shouldn't it be "The story has just begun"? It's in the bugtracker since 2-3 weeks.

Why am I not surprised that they didn't fix it.
Aside from the remaining bugs, the homepage just looks very "busy"...many icons, colors, image styles, etc. - the left menu looked better before the icons loaded.
Part of the center image is cut off if the browser window is too small in Firefox, and causes horizontal scrolling and layout breakage around the corners in Internet Explorer.
The page title repeats.
The alt tags for the print and email icons at the top of the first post are in French.
This image looks too compressed and a bit messed up in general, especially around the hair.
The roadmap is broken from "The Order of the Rangers of Atys" down.
Why is the Player Movies section restricted to existing users? Potential players should be able to see the player-made movies...though I suppose they could just go to ryzom-movies.de. But wait, where's the Fanattic? It doesn't exist anymore, so there's no link to ryzom-movies.de.
Favicon appears to be Plone default.

The question would then be: how many dial-up users are going to download a 1 235 MB game client?
And there's still the STOP button on most browsers.
The download on the new site is an older version than the one on the site now...

Not everyone accesses the web site using the same system they game from. I use my laptop for web related access both at home and at work. At home, I play the game on a decent size desktop machine. Fortunately for me, I have broadband both at home and work, but others may not have the same network access in all places.

If they just need the news and not the presentation, they can type "/news" at the end of the url ^^

It might be just me, but I miss a link to the forums. If I didn't look good enough, sorry about that
