PvP or not ?

Well i think everyone know that there are battles from time to time in yrk. Yesterday, we went to yrk again to pvp a bit as happend few times before but this time i got a pm of zerlin who was told by soulsnatcher "we have to leave yrk and untag or our guild get banned" coz of harrasment O_o. And as that makes no sense i connected to klient to discuss with soulsnatcher about it ( was told by zerlin i can discuss wit him on klient). Well... Soulsnatcher just said his view and end... i dont even got a answer of my question. So my questions are :
1. Is it my m8s and me allowed to enter yrk taged ? or will i get a bann?
2. Why u bring Pvp ingame if we cant do it ?
3. You think the way Gm´s are acting like is right ?
By the way.. afterwards karas showed up and we were outnumbered. They kept us at kami tp yrk. Isnt that a harrasment too ? ;D well as i´ve sent a ticket coz of harrasment i dont got a answer... my view is ... what a bad joke really.. if u want to keep us out if yrk make it a non PvP area but dont tell peeps that they will get a bann coz they pvped

I would like an answer on some of this too,
IMO the karas invited us to come PvP with the shielding act thing, now its harrasment if we do?
(just to say massive respect to deathbow for duking it out with the best of us despite not having the levels)
would nevrax rather have us go to Pr and gank diggers than accept the challenge of raiding yrk?

I wasnt there, but I cant help thinking that that isnt the whole story.
They wouldnt ask you to stop pvping unless you were doing something unacceptable whilst doing the pvp, such as flaming, swearing, trolling or whatever.
I find it highly unlikely they just decided to ask you to stop for no reason.

I think it's not the PvP that is the problem it's the way everyone talks to each other that is the problem.
Just go out and kill each other and don't get mad if your side is losing, get back up and try again. Try saying "good job, you got me that time, lets try again

".
Respect your fellow Homins and we should not have a problem.

Hmmm does seem there has to be more to this story.
Even though I don't personally like or engage in PvP, I have to say that they can't tell you that you're not allowed to enter Yrk tagged up. IF that's the only thing that was said.
If it's PURELY an issue with entering Yrk tagged then they are wrong to threaten a ban. IF it's purely a ban on being tagged then someone has lost the plot. You can't bring in PvP then tell people they can't do it.
If it's an issue with HOW they PvP (abusive chat, ganking etc.), that's a different matter entirely.
I'd like to hear Soul's side of this and the full reason behind the threat. Let's have the full story please.

Well the idea of making large cities (capitals at least) a PvP-free area (like the spawn points) looks really sound to me.
About harrassment. KoO has been created as an intensive PvP guild. But PvP at ops is one thing, while continuous rading of cities - quite another.
It was not banned by the devs so far, but doesn't seem right either.
It's up to Devs really - they are the higher powers and it's up to them to decide what is right and wrong. They implemented this much PvP and they have to clear up the mess it has created.
Personally I never wear PvP tag at all

And if some tagged clowns jump around me in my hometown I can't care less.
If they start dragging aggro on me in Void when I am sitting at paramount stock away from K like Mr. Istmagic often did in the past I will just consider immature punks unworthy of my attention and never talk to them again
As simple as that really.

Well, all I'll say is that the story presented is inaccurate as to what really happened, of course they didn't put pvp into the game then tell people not to do it.
If you are disrespectful of fellow players and a senior guide while doing it, the GMs will intervene, which is what caused you trouble in yrk.
Similar to how some of your guildmates were dragging aggro because we wouldn't plod hunt with them, if you act maturely to other players and think beyond yourself, you don't have problems, so try to imagine yourself in the same shoes as those you pvp with... if you would like to be insulted and disrespected in the same way, then continue to act as you do. Since I doubt you would, consider acting maturely about pvp and have fun with it, and you'll find teh GMs dont' give you a hard time.
It's not rocket science why they threaten to ban you, think before you speak

.

Case closed. Why start a thread asking a question when you know exactly why you were made to stop. If youre going to act like an ass to the gms you deserve all you get.
