how do i play the game?

That's a rather general question. Could you be a bit more specific?
Have you downloaded the client?
Installed it?
Started it?
Where exactly are you having problems?

Download and install the game client to begin with. After installation the client should launch and then you login with your trial account name and password. Make a new character, customizing your looks as much as you like, then try to find a unique name for him/her. You should then find yourself on Atys in front of a Welcomer NPC. Talk to the Welcomer by right-clicking them.

Once in the game use your mouse and keyboard to move and select things
Press 'k' to see the keymapping
