Ryzom

Downloaded the game yesterday, made an account, patched and such. When I go to relaunch the game after patching, I get the error that shows up as
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error"

Browsed the forum and have tried every single suggested solution I could find, adjusting my resolution/color depth, messed with hardware acceleration, checked everything in configuration (OpenGL is working, last I checked), tried repatching and such..

I have an ATI card, not sure what else anyone would need to know to possibly help.

Any suggestions?

Email a copy of your log.log file (found in the main Ryzom game folder) to support-ee@ryzom.com and we will have a look to see if there is anything apparent. Also a copy of the diagnostics from dxdiag would be good.

One thing to make sure of is that your system is virus and spyware free. Don't rely on just one thing like a virus checker, install and run something like AdAware or Spybot Search & Destroy to cover everything.
