I am absolutely shocked. Amazed, even, at this community. I'm sure the game may have its fair share of people that are... not-so-friendly, but just from the forums here, and reading several threads, you have absolutely no idea how refreshing it is to see kindness, companionship, and general good will in a community of an MMORPG. Forgive me for the language, but you don't understand how different it is to see something other than "OMG NERF X CLASS," "lol stfu noob," or "cocks lol". In a strange way, it's also very scary.

I'm glad to be joining all of you, even if it is only temporarily depending on how the game suits me, but I wanted to say hello, and tell you how impressed I am by the community here. I look forward to seeing some of you in Ryzom, I hope!

I think Noobs are overpowered and need to be cut back some. Just the other day I saw one wearing armor. When I was a Noob we only had onion skins and it was a real problem keeping them held together with ant spit. NERF the NOOBS!!!!!

You oughta start wiith the hgame itself really. the people tend to flame and troll on the forums but in game - theyare real angels

It's more fun once you get to the mainland... people are just dying to give new players all sorts of things It's enough to make you almost scream at them to leave you alone so you can figure things out on your own... then you realize you can do that later and its easier to get teh uber stuff now so you don't have to grind so hard

yeah it's pretty cool. i'm a noob too and I am really enjoying the game and the people so far. gotta suffer through some confusion until you figure out how the game works in English but everyone will help you.
